PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
NUSA's Player Development Program is a training only program which was created by NUSA to provide consistent training, with qualified licensed coaches, for local recreational or YMCA players.
The players in this program have either not been offered a position in one of NUSA's academies or applied for tryouts but would prefer the option of simply training with our experienced and licensed staff.
Players in this program may play for any recreational program or team in Middle TN.
Training for PDP is two nights per week in the Fall and Spring and one night per week during the Winter. The training focuses on technical skill development and small sided games in order to maximize the number of touches on the ball that these players will get during a training session.
The goal of this program is for players to learn during the training session, practice the skills learned at home and/or in their recreational leagues and gradually improve their technical skills and decision making both on and off the ball.
